Our research covers various aspects from the field of Theoretical Geodesy, or as we prefer to say Computational Geodesy. We are working on the edge of applied statistics, mathematics and informatics analyzing typical problems from (physical) geodesy (current projects).
We focus on methodical developments, to analyze geodetic observations or data sets collected by different sensors or sensor platforms. Tailored methods, algorithms and implementations are derived using the tools as indicated by the keywords below, to solve the problem in a rigorous and consistent way. Besides trying to extract as many information from the data sets, we spend a huge effort describing the uncertainty of the derived output.
